BISHOP, Dorothy Mae, a longtime resident of San Leandro, passed away on Wednesday, June 6, 2012, at age 95. Mrs. Bishop worked as a beautician and hairdresser for many years and was a member of the Eden Singles Club in San Leandro, and a former member and officer of the San Leandro and Castro Valley Garden Club.

FERREIRA, Irene, of San Leandro, passed away on Sunday, June 17, 2012, after a long battle with illness. She was 92. A funeral liturgy celebrating her life  will be held at 9:30 a.m. today, June 21, at St. Leander’s Church, 550 W. Estudillo Ave. in San Leandro. Arrangements were made by Santos-Robinson Mortuary, 160 Estudillo Ave., San Leandro.

HOSMER-KELLICUTT, Cindy, of San Leandro, passed away on Monday, June 4, 2012, at age 43. Mrs. Hosmer-Kellicutt was a teacher at Sheffield Village Preschool and a volunteer at Roosevelt Elementary School. A memorial service will be held at 7:30 p.m. today, June 21, at Sheffield Recreation Center and Park, 247 Marlow Drive in Oakland.

MORGAN, Deborah Kay, of San Leandro, passed away in Castro Valley on Tuesday, June 5, 2012, at age 53. A native of Alameda, Mrs. Morgan was a Native American member of the Confederated Salish Kootenai Tribes of the Flathead Reservation. She was a 1977 graduate of Pacific High School and worked for Delta Dental Insurance for 35 years. Services were held June 16 at Holy Angels Funeral Center in Hayward.

SCHIMBERG, Jacob Charles, of San Lorenzo, passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2012 at age 55. Mr. Schimberg was a 1972 graduate of Arroyo High School. A funeral service was held June 16 at the Jess C. Spencer Mortuary, 21228 Redwood Road in Castro Valley.
