Domestic Dispute

Sunday, August 19: at 6:35 p.m., a 911 call about a loud and aggressive argument sent deputies to a home on Canyon Court near Boulder Canyon Drive. There they arrested a 37-year-old woman from Castro Valley on suspicion of violence against a family member, attacking a child and resisting arrest. The woman was taken to Santa Rita Jail.

Graffiti Artist Nabbed

Sunday, August 19: at 9:23 p.m., deputies arrested a 46-year-old woman from Castro Valley on suspicion of destroying and defacing a property on Center Street near Grove Way. The woman was standing in front of the property when deputies approached her. The woman was taken to Santa Rita Jail pending $5,000 bail.

Over the Limit

Sunday, August 19: at 4:41 p.m., a 21-year-old man from Castro Valley was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated. Deputies pulled the man over on Kit Lane near Glenwood Drive after observing him driving erratically in the neighborhood. The man was taken into custody.

Pot Bust

Saturday, August 18: at 1:30 a.m., deputies arrested a 36-year-old man from Castro Valley on suspicion of possession of an illegal amount of marijuana drugs. The man was walking along Castro Valley Boulevard near Redwood Road when deputies approached him. They discovered the drugs during questioning. The man was taken into custody.

Child Endangerment

Friday, August 17: at 2:20 p.m., a 36-year-old man fro Castro Valley was arrested on suspicion of child endangerment. Deputies arrived at a home on Titan Way near Crest Avenue after receiving an anonymous tip. The man was taken into custody. The juveniles were treated at the scene and taken into protective custody.

Too Loud

Thursday, August 16: at 3:05 a.m., a 911 call about an obnoxious noise in the middle of the night sent deputies to a home on Wisteria Street near Somerset Avenue. There they arrested a 21-year-old man from CV on suspicion of willfully disturbing the peace. The man was taken into custody.

Meth Bust

Tuesday, August 14: at 3:33 p.m., deputies arrested a 62-year-old man from Hayward on suspicion of possession of an unspecified amount of methamphetamine drugs. The man was traveling on A Street into Castro Valley when deputies stopped him for questioning. The man was handcuffed and taken to Santa Rita Jail pending $10,000 bail.

Child Violence

Monday, August 13: at 6:45 p.m., a 29-year-old man from San Lorenzo was arrested on suspicion of violence against a family member younger than 8-years-old. Deputies questioned the man at a home on Marshall Drive near David Street after receiving a complaint. The man was taken to Santa Rita Jail. The victim was treated at the scene and taken into protective services.
