A man was stabbed several times by two assailants in the 14800 block of East 14th Street just after midnight on Sept. 7.
He was walking when men approached him from the other direction and wouldn’t let him pass and attacked him, according to Lt. Randy Brandt of the San Leandro police.
The men tussled and the victim thought he had been punched, but he noticed blood and, when he went for medical attention, discovered that he had been stabbed.
The suspects are both described as Hispanic males, short, with slender builds. There is no known motive for the attack.
