A suspect has been arrested in the attempted murder on the 100 block of Stoakes Avenue last week.

Raymond Eusebio, a 24-year-old San Leandro resident turned himself in on Sept. 2 for the stabbing of a male victim which had occurred the night before, according to Lt. Randy Brandt of the San Leandro police.

The victim was in critical condition when police arrived and provided first aid to him on the residential street.

Brandt said that police had been on the lookout for Eusebio and he likely knew that he was a suspect, which led to him turning himself in.

On Sept. 5, the Alameda County District Attorney’s office charged Eusebio with assault with a deadly weapon and he is currently being held on $120,000 bail at Santa Rita jail in Dublin.

His next court date is Oct. 9 at the Hayward Hall of Justice.
