The Castro Valley Trojans’ football team has started off with a 2-2 record against non-conference teams and will play their last non-conference game this Friday, as the Trojans host,
Bay Valley favorite, Freedom High School. So far, CVHS has defeated Liberty High School in Brentwood, on Friday 40-14 and Leland High School in the inaugural Pat Tilman Classic on Friday, August 31, in San Jose. The two losses came against Monte Vista 35-22 on Friday, August 24 and to California 42-34 on Friday, September 7 The Trojans begin conference play on Friday, September 28, at home against San Leandro. This year CVHS is in the new WAAC-12 Foothill league, where CV will be facing the following teams: Bishop O’Dowd, Encinal, Hayward, Berkeley, and San Leandro. |
