The San Leandro Crusaders Jr. Midgets beat the Pleasant Hill Rebels, 32-6, on Saturday. Alvante Thornton and Jermaine Jackson each scored two touchdowns for the Crusaders and Aaqil Ansar scored another TD.
The defensive standouts were Rayshaun Baker-Lynch, Steven White, Aaqil Ansar, Alvante Thornton, Jermanie Jackson, Anthony Bostic, Jamil Harper and Paxton Griffin.
The Crusaders play all their games on the road this year due to construction at Burrell Field. This Saturday, the games will be at Benicia High School.
