The Castro Valley High School Trojans’ football team began their league conference games on Friday, hosting the San Leandro Pirates and winning 48-39.

The Castro Valley Trojans were led by running backs Robert Taylor and Demareyeh Lane, as they combined for over 300 yards on the ground and seven touchdowns.

The Trojans are preparing for this Friday, when they go to Bishop O’Dowd to play the Dragons in a Western Alameda County Conference showdown.
