San Leandro based Curtain Call Performing Arts and the California Conservatory Theatre merged with a shared vision to continue to provide exceptional live theatre to San Leandro and the greater San Francisco Bay Area. After a summer of negotiations the two companies have moved forward under the CCPA name.
Now the curtain is ready to rise on the 2012/2013 season with “A Toast to the Arts,” fund-raiser at The Vine, Wine and Tapas, on Parrott Street in downtown San Leandro on Sunday, Oct. 28, from 3 to 7 p.m. Guest hosted by San Leandro Mayor Stephen Cassidy, the all-inclusive event will feature wine, tapas, live performances, a silent auction, and the opportunity to purchase season tickets.
The 2012/2013 CCPA season will include six productions featuring musicals, stage plays, and choral concerts with performances at the current CCT site and San Leandro Performing Arts Center. To purchase tickets to “A Toast to the Arts” season kick-off, or for more information, visit www.curtaincallperformingarts.org/, or call 909-9516.
