102512n3The Walmart at 15555 Hesperian Boulevard was robbed Friday night by three suspects, one of whom had a gun.

Just before 10 p.m., three men entered the store and went to the customer service counter, according to Lt. Jeff Tudor of the San Leandro police.

One of the men approached a woman working there who was doing returns. He grabbed her by the arm and pointed a silver handgun at her, Tudor said.

All three of the men then went behind the counter and forcibly opened multiple cash registers and then ran out of the store with the money.

Witnesses saw the men get into a light colored four door sedan and drive away from the store heading south.

The suspects are described as three black male adults wearing hooded sweatshirts and dark colored pants. The man with the gun was described as being in his late 20s, about 5-foot-8, with a medium build. The second suspect was also in his late 20s, but heavyset and shorter, and the third suspect was described as 6-feet tall.

This Walmart location received national attention last year when it was the scene of a shooting on Black Friday and a total of three people have been shot in that location in the past year and a half – all the vicitms survived their injuries.
