The Kiwanis Club of San Leandro Met at CreAsian Bistro in San Leandro last month, for their 89th installation of officers for 2012-2013.
Katie Knox was installed as president by Lt. Governor Roberta Bliss for the coming year.
The following club officers will be there to support Knox’s ambitious year: President-Elect Don Pollard, Vice President Lyman Alexander, Secretary Mike LeFaivre and Treasurer Bruce Hennings.
The installation also included the following board members: John Chovanes, Rod Krug, Chad Pennebaker, Lew Pollack, Susan Reisz and Pat Sangiacomo.
The Committee Chairs are: Bulletin Editor Terri Neumann; Club Foundation, Rod Krug; Community Service, John Chovanes; Interclub Dave Newacheck; Membership, Pat Sangiacomo; President’s Advisor, Terri Neumann; Program Chair, Lyman Alexander; Public Relations, Susan Reisz; Service Leadership programs, Chad Pennebaker; Ways and Means, Don Pollard; World Wide Service Project, Vonnah Bagner; Youth Services, Lew Pollack.
Pete Ballew was master of ceremonies for the evening where the Kiwanis awarded the William A. Dunlap fellowship to former president Vonnah Bagner for her award-winning year as president, and the Kiwanian of the Year award to Mike Le Faivre for his outstanding year as secretary.
