CASTRO VALLEY FORUM
Hundreds of cheering parents, current and former students lined the sidewalk of Redwood Road near the Castro Valley High School Stadium entrance Friday afternoon for this year’s Homecoming Parade. Though her children graduated from Castro Valley High School in 2004 and 2011, Nancy
Lewis arrived 45 minutes early to stake out “her corner” in front of the school. “This is the Castro Valley thing to do and really the event of the year with the game and fireworks later tonight,” said Lewis. The senior class chose “Under the Big Top,” celebrating a circus theme for a float labeled “Our Final Show!!” The evening ended on the football field with the CVHS Marching Band, the Spirit Squad, fireworks, and a spectacular Trojans Homecoming 41-0 win over Hayward High School. |
