The recent abolishment of Redevelopment Agencies in the State of California has had its toll on homeownership programs throughout the Bay Area.
First-time homebuyers still have access to resources and services to assist them in purchasing a home, including: free homebuyer education and counseling; down payment assistance programs; and access to below-market-rate units and homes
The ability to combine these resources and services can provide a first-time homebuyer an important edge to enter into this highly competitive market.
The City of San Leandro, in conjunction with the Bay Area HomeBuyer Agency, is providing a free public homebuyer seminar from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. this Saturday, Nov. 3, at San Leandro’s City Hall in the Helen Lawrence South Conference Room, 835 E. 14th St.
