The Castro Valley High School Trojans football team finished the regular season hosted by the Berkeley High School Yellow jackets, with an opportunity to finish the season having a winning record and to force a tie for first place.

Instead they lost 15-13, as a last second field goal attempt was botched ending the regular season with a 5-5 record, but still good enough to take second place in league and make the playoffs.

The Trojans are a North Coast Section 12 seed, starting play this Saturday, Nov. 10, at 7 p.m. against the 5-seeded Dons of Amador Valley High School in Pleasanton.
