“Harry and the Dirty Dog” will be presented by the CTC Children’s Theatre Friday morning, Nov. 16 at 9:30 and 11 a.m. For tickets contact CTC Children’s Theatre at 800-606-0424.

San Francisco Master Chorale will be presented at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 17. Tickets ($20) can be purchased at the door.

Community Band Concert under the direction of Kathy Maier will be presented free at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 19 at the Center for the Arts. The 60-piece band will play pieces of the season, including a sing-along. Refreshments will be served, compliments of Castro Valley Adult and Career Education.

“Cat on a Hot Tin Roof,” Tennessee Williams’ Pulitzer Prize-winning drama, will be presented by San Leandro Players Theatre Company at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, and at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 2. For tickets ($15-$20) see above.


“All My Sons,” Arthur Miller’s compelling 1947 classic, will be presented by the Douglas Morrisson Theatre (22311 N. Third Street, in Hayward) with an ensemble of Bay Area performers from Nov. 16 to Dec. 9, with a $10 preview at 8 on Nov. 15. Cantare’s!
