The Varsity Cheer Squad from Castro Valley High School participated in the recent Varsity / USA Spirit Association Cheer competition at Sonoma State University. The team placed second in their division and qualified for Nationals which will be held in Anaheim in March. The squad is coached by Kim Stiving and assisted by Junior Varsity Coach Maegan Maglaya.
