Drug Paraphernalia

Sunday, November 18: at 12:02 a.m., sheriff’s deputies arrested a 40-year-old woman from Hayward on suspicion of possession of illegal drug paraphernalia. Deputies stopped the woman outside a business on Center Street near Grove Way. There found her stash during questioning. The woman was taken to Santa Rita Jail pending $5,000 bail.


Robbery Suspects Nabbed

Sunday, November 18: at 12:48 a.m., two men were arrested on suspicion of robbery outside a business on Baker Road near Castro Valley Boulevard. Deputies caught up with the men as they were leaving the establishment. An 18-year-old man from Oakland and a 33-year-old man from Lathrop (San Joaquin County) were handcuffed and taken to Santa Rita Jail.


Over the Limit

Sunday, November 18: at 12:19 a.m., a 21-year-old man from San Leandro was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated. Deputies caught up with the man and pulled him over while he was traveling on Foothill Boulevard near Miramar Avenue in Castro Valley. The man was taken into custody.


Domestic Dispute

Saturday, November 17: at 8:28 a.m., a 911 call about a loud and aggressive argument sent deputies to a home on Stanton Avenue near Sydney Way. There they arrested a 49-year-old man from Castro Valley on suspicion of assaulting a family member at the home. The man was handcuffed and taken into custody.


Filed False Report

Saturday, November 17: at 9:10 a.m., a 52-year-old woman from Castro Valley was arrested on suspicion of filing a false report to law enforcement, which is a misdemeanor. The woman was outside a home on Lamson Road near Almond Avenue when deputies questioned her. The woman was taken into custody.


One Too Many

Friday, November 16: at 3:24 p.m., deputies arrested a 51-year-old man from San Francisco on suspicion of public intoxication and violating his probation. The man was traveling on Castro Valley Boulevard near Baker Road when deputies caught up with him. The man was then taken to Santa Rita Jail.


Marijuana Possession

Friday, November 16: at 7:18 a.m., a 30-year-old man from Piedmont was arrested on suspicion of possession of concentrated amounts of marijuana drugs and another controlled substance. The man was traveling on Norbridge Avenue when deputies stopped him near Castro Valley Boulevard. The man was taken into custody.


Drug Kit

Friday, November 16: at 10:24 p.m., deputies arrested a 19-year-old woman from Hayward on suspicion of possession of illegal drug paraphernalia. The woman was traveling on Toledo Way near Page Street in Castro Valley when deputies caught up with her and discovered her stash. The woman was taken into custody.


 

Stolen Car

Thursday, November 15: at 10:10 a.m., a 26-year-old man from Castro Valley was arrested on suspicion of driving a stolen vehicle, violating his parole, possession of stolen property, possession of illegal drug paraphernalia, and possession of a lock-pick. Deputies caught up with the man on Eden Canyon Road about two miles from Interstate Highway 580. The man was taken to Santa Rita Jail.

 

 

Family Fight

Wednesday, November 14: at 5:17 p.m., a 911 call about a loud and aggressive argument sent deputies to a home on Aspen Avenue near Pine Street. There they arrested a 42-year-old man from Castro Valley on suspicion of assault on a family member at the home as well as illegal possession of drug paraphernalia. The man was handcuffed and taken into custody.
