It was an exciting day for the kids and their parents on Friday as Santa Claus arrived in Castro Valley aboard a red Alameda County Fire Department truck, making appearances in Castro Village and at the Ice Creamery on the Boulevard. Children will be able to visit with the Jolly Old Elf from 4 until 7 weekday afternoons and from noon to 4 on weekends at the Ice Creamery. Santa will be on hand in Castro Village for photos with kids from 11 until 4 on Saturday and Sundays. |
