“Winter Celebration” presented by the Canyon Middle School  Choirs singing a variety of winter and holiday music in two performances, 6:30 and 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 11. Tickets for each performance are $4 to $6 when purchased in advance. Ticket prices will be higher at the door.

THEATRICAL & MUSICAL PERFORMANCES



“All My Sons,” Arthur Miller’s compelling 1947 classic, will be presented by the Douglas Morrisson Theatre (22311 N. Third Street, in Hayward) with an ensemble of Bay Area performers this Friday and Saturday (Dec. 7-8) at 8 and Sunday at 2. Tickets ($28) at 510-881-6777 or www.dmtonline.org.

 

Cantare’s! A Broadway Holiday,” a concert series that fuses hits from the best Broadway shows with the most beloved songs of the holiday season, will be performed Dec. 7 - 9 at the California Conservatory Theatre (999 E. 14th St. in San Leandro. “A Christmas Carol,” the musical extravaganza, will be presented by Curtain Call Performing Arts Dec. 14-23 at the San Leandro Arts Education Center, 2200 Bancroft Ave. in San Leandro. Performances are Dec. 14, 15, 21 and 22 at 8 p.m. and Dec. 16 and 23 at 2 p.m. The Dec. 16 matinee is a special Family Day when  children K-5 are admitted for $1 with a full-price paid adult. ART GALLERIES & EVENTS

Annual Holiday Boutique, presented by Sun Gallery, 1015 E St. in Hayward, continues through Dec. 23 (Fridays noon - 6 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.), featuring one-of-a-kind handcrafted treasures for holiday gift giving. A reception with a free raffle, refreshments and music is scheduled from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8.



“Giftique,” an artist’s market of unique handmade gifts, is open at Cinema Place Gallery on B St. next to the movie theater in Hayward tomorrow through Saturday from noon to 8 and Sunday from noon to 4.



John O’Lague Galleria, in Hayward’s City Hall at 777 B St., presents “Ten Women’s Perspectives” by Watercolor Connections – the works of Annie Boddum, Bonnie Crosse, Sheila Fimreite, Dawn Hyde, Dorothy Lyons, Grace Yun, Jan Matsuoka, Molly McKenzie, Sally Lampi and Nan Soldahl, through Feb. 1. A public reception will be held this Friday, Dec. 7, from 5:30-7:30 p.m.



Sun Gallery’s Boutique Reception and raffle will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. this Saturday, Dec. 8, with handcrafted items including ceramics, art glass, knitted and sewn items, photography, paintings, mosaics, framed art mirrors, holiday cards, ornaments and more.
