Visit Santa Claus

Santa Claus is coming to the McConaghy House on Saturday, Dec. 8, between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Come by and meet the jolly man himself.

We will make snow globes and paper garlands, and listen to winter-time stories. Enjoy cookies and cider. Cost: $2 program fee per child, $3 tour fee for adults, free for HAHS members.

A Christmas Carol

The McConaghy House will host a performance of A Christmas Carol on three Saturdays (Dec. 8, Dec. 15 and Dec. 22) with performances at 4:30 and 7:30 p.m.

Don’t miss this unique theatrical experience of Charles Dickens’ timeless tale. The audience moves from room-to-room, following actors and musicians as they bring the story to life.

This 1-hour show will combine the telling of Dickens’ ghost story with the home’s preserved Victorian-era beauty in a celebration of the Christmas spirit.

Join the performers after the show for a merry cup of hot cider. Seating is limited.
