Police are looking for the suspects behind a drive-by shooting that left a home and car damaged on Dec. 13, but thankfully no people were hit.

The San Leandro police received multiple 911 calls reporting gun shots on the 15200 block of Upton Avenue last Thursday, around 9:45 p.,m., according to Lt. Jeff Tudor of the San Leandro police. Callers heard shooting and a witness told officers that a suspect ran from the scene before they arrived, Tudor said.

Officers found several shell casings at the scene, but no victim or suspect. A bullet was found to have hit a nearby duplex. A parked car was also struck by several bullets. No one was injured.

Anyone with any information about the shooting is asked to call the San Leandro police at 577-3238 or use the anonymous tip line, 577-3278.
