Dublin Police and Alameda County Sheriff’s officers search the area around Creekside Middle School Thursday afternoon with K-9 units and helicopters for the driver of a car involved in a high-speed chase that began in Dublin and continued on west-bound I-580. Sheriff’s Sgt. JD Nelson said the driver evaded police after an attempted traffic stop. Police called off the pursuit near Rowell Ranch because of traffic and weather conditions. Deputies located the car on Edwards Lane in Castro Valley, but were unable to locate the suspect, who was identified as Lyndsey Hartsnick, 27, a parolee, or an unidentified male passenger.
