In coordination with the new county-wide plastic bag ban, CVSan gave away more than 800 reusable cloth bags over two Saturday mornings in January.
For those who missed out, the Alameda County Clean Water Program will be giving them away over the next few months all over Alameda County. Visit www.cleanwaterprogram.org/members-news/item/pick-up-a-free-reusable-bag-and-a-new-habit.html to find out when and where.
CVSan will be giving out more of the durable cloth bags and produce bags at the Castro Valley Farmers’ Market in May. Learn more about the reusable bag ordinance at ReusableBagsAC.org |
