Teenagers will take the stage on Friday night to compete in the citywide San Leandro’s Got Talent.
The event will showcase local teen talent and benefit teen programs. The show starts at 7 p.m. Friday at the Main Library, 300 Estudillo Ave. and a panel of local celebrity judges will choose the winners.
Light refreshments will be sold during intermission and there will be a raffle for prizes. The talent show is a collaboration of the San Leandro Public Library’s Teen Advisory Group (TAG) and the Youth Advisory Commission (YAC) to offer a fun new event for the community while raising money for teen programs.
Tickets can be purchased at the Main Library, $10 for adults and $5 for youth, 17 and under.
