Douglas Morrisson Theatre will open its season this weekend with “Sherlock Holmes: The Final Adventure” by Steven Dietz.
The world’s greatest detective Sherlock Holmes and his able sidekick Doctor Watson square off against evil genius Professor Moriarty. Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s detective is as popular as ever, and in this play Dietz cleverly melds two of the most famous of his mystery stories.
Performances are on Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. through March 10 at the Douglas Morrisson Theatre, 22311 N. Third St. in Hayward.
There will be a preview performance tonight (Thursday) at 8 p.m. with tickets at just $10, and an opening reception on Friday night. Tickets are $29 with discounts available to seniors, students, TBA, KQED members and groups of 10 or more. The box office number is 881-6777, or go to www.dmtonline.org.
